THE CENTER
SALA SUJIPULI, is located in Simeuang village, Vientiane Capital, in a 3 storey building that has been granted free of charge by a landlady from the community.
The center is open for free of charge to all children and their families. The space is divided in three main areas including a literary sala, a library and workshops.
SALA SUJIPULI is divided into three main areas:
- The library will display a selection of books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, magazines, newspapers, etc. available in different languages, while a multimedia centre will offer several workstations as well as Internet and IT services.
- The literary sala will offer the community a comfortable and active space where literature and readings will be enjoyed. The sala will host writers, poets, story tellers and artists from Laos or abroad and aims to establish direct and positive links between the author and the audience. The sala will as well display a selection of traditional and board games providing a wide variety of playing and learning opportunities.
- The workshops will provide flexible spaces for training, exchanges or performances.
